Punch Grafting

An advanced tissue regeneration technique that uses your own tissue to speed up the healing of chronic wounds and lesions.

Punch grafting is an advanced tissue regeneration technique in which small units of the patient's skin (usually hair follicles together with their cellular environment and extracellular matrix) are taken and applied to the injured area using a stamp-like system that places multiple micrografts precisely and evenly.

These micrografts contain stem cells, growth factors and regenerative matrix, which naturally activate and boost the body's repair processes.

It is a minimally invasive, fast and well-tolerated procedure, especially useful for chronic wounds, ulcers, scars, alopecia or areas where faster regeneration is sought.

Benefits of punch grafting

Stimulates natural regeneration

Provides cells and biological factors that reactivate the repair of damaged tissue.

Minimally invasive

It does not require aggressive surgery; it is performed under local anaesthesia and causes very little discomfort.

Speeds up healing

Promotes the formation of new tissue and accelerates granulation and epithelialisation.

Improves tissue quality

The new tissue tends to be more resistant, flexible and functional.

Reduces the risk of infection

Faster newly-formed tissue reduces the wound's exposure to pathogens.

Useful in chronic wounds

It works very well in venous ulcers, compensated arterial ulcers, diabetic foot, traumatic ulcers, etc.

Safe and autologous

By using the patient's own tissue, it minimises rejection, allergies or complications.

Pain reduction

It has been shown that, after punch grafting, very painful ulcers (especially arterial ones) experience a significant reduction in pain.

A safe, effective procedure

By using the patient's own (autologous) tissue, punch grafting minimises the risks of rejection, allergies or complications. It is especially effective in ulcers that do not respond to conventional treatments, offering a regenerative alternative that harnesses the body's natural ability to repair itself.
